I'm looking at a bucket seat for sale. It's nearby, cheap, lightweight, and best of all: already has mounting hardware for my car. However, it has a single locking slider. I've heard talk on forums that this may compromise safety in a crash, as well as assurances that it's perfectly fine (typical forum bumping of heads). Can any bucket-seaters out there say anything on this subject?
